These general terms and conditions ("Terms") apply when you, as a customer, complete a purchase via Avante's website. By using the website and placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms in full.

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 48 hours on weekdays.

2. Products and prices

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT (25% on perfumes), unless otherwise indicated at checkout. Prices may change without prior notice due to circumstances beyond our control. The price confirmed at checkout is the price that applies to your order.

We strive to keep all information on the website accurate, but reserve the right to correct typographical or technical errors and sold-out items. Colour rendering on your screen is not grounds for a complaint. Our perfumes are produced in limited editions and we reserve the right to limit quantities per customer and to withdraw products from the range without notice.

3. Orders and conclusion of agreement

An automatic order confirmation is sent to the email address you provided. The confirmation means we have received your order and that a binding agreement has been entered into. Always check that the details in the confirmation are correct.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of obvious technical errors (e.g. a 0 SEK mispricing), suspected fraud, or if the product has unexpectedly sold out. In such cases we will contact you directly and refund the full amount.

4. Payment

Our checkout is PCI-DSS compliant. We never store card details or sensitive payment data on our own servers. Available payment methods (Visa, Mastercard and other major cards) are shown at checkout and processed securely through Stripe.

5. Delivery and shipping

We deliver within Sweden and to selected countries. Delivery times (typically 3–5 business days) are estimates and not guaranteed end dates. Avante is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs handling or force majeure.

Please note that items currently sold as pre-orders may take longer to be dispatched. The estimated shipping window is shown on the product page and communicated in your order confirmation.

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and mobile number. For uncollected parcels, we reserve the right to charge an administrative fee of 150 SEK to cover the cost of return shipping and handling.

6. Returns and right of withdrawal

Under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (SFS 2005:59), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the product. Perfume is classified as a hygiene item — the product must be completely unopened, unused and with the seal intact. If the seal is broken, the right of withdrawal lapses.

Contact us within 14 days, wait for return instructions, and package the item carefully. You are responsible for the return shipping. Refunds are issued within 14 days via the same payment method. See our full shipping & returns policy.

7. Complaints

If the product is damaged, leaking or has a defective spray mechanism, you have the right to make a complaint under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description and photos. For approved complaints, Avante covers the return shipping. The right to make a complaint applies for three (3) years from purchase, provided the fault is inherent.

8. Limitation of liability and use

Avante's perfumes are for external use on skin or clothing only — they must not be swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Avante is not liable for allergic reactions to declared ingredients. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the products.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the website — texts, trademarks, fragrance names, logos, images, design and code — is owned by Avante or used under licence and is protected by copyright and trademark law.

10. Personal data and cookies

We handle your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Read our full privacy policy.

11. Applicable law and dispute resolution

Swedish law applies. In the event of a dispute, please first contact our customer service. You also have the right to refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm — arn.se) or the EU ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We follow ARN's recommendations.
